CSP 142: Torture Zoë – Flirting With Disaster (1996) & Joy (2015)

It’s the grand finale to the Torture Us trilogy, a series of episodes where we’ve hand-picked a pair of films for each host specifically designed to make them hate life as much as possible.

For Zoë’s turn, we picked a pair of films from the director who’s inspired more swearing and ranting from Zoë than possibly any other: David O. Russell. We take a look at the acclaimed (why) director’s second and most recent films: 1996’s Flirting With Disaster, and 2015’s Joy. Is there any joy left to be felt in our hosts? Listen and find out!
